The OSU Division of Endodontics is currently looking for subjects for a dental anesthetic study. To qualify, you must be a medically healthy female with natural red hair between the ages of 18 and 65 with no current dental problems. The study requires one 90-120 minute appointment. 150 roodharigen hebben de kans om vrijdagavond 3 september aanwezig te zijn als publiek bij de Madiwodovrijdagshow met Paul de Leeuw!

De Madiwodovrijdagshow is een nieuwe, dagelijkse live-late-night show van Paul de Leeuw waarin de actualiteit van de dag centraal staat. Het programma wordt afwisselend mede gepresenteerd door Filemon Wesselink en Erben Wennemars en wordt iedere werkdag uitgezonden op Nederland 3. Het nieuws is leidend maar er mag ook vaak en veel gelachen worden.

Normaal moet er een ticket gekocht worden, maar bij uitzondering is het deze avond gratis voor roodharigen!

Je moet aanwezig zijn om 21.00 uur in Almere.

On Saturday, July 17, 2010, the first annual " Largest gathering of people with natural red hair" will happen in Sammamish, Washington at the Skyline High School Stadium (1122 228th Avenue Southeast, Sammamish, Washington) – right across the street from Sammamish City Hall. Sammamish Washington is located about 15 miles from downtown Seattle, Washington. It's a beautiful little town nestled on the edge of Lake Sammamish.

Anne Lindsay, photographer and chronicler of redheads, is creating a book about natural redheads. She's photographed 100 redheads and plans on photographing many more. She's still looking for more natural redheads for her book. Contact her to be in the book at book@redheadsandmoreredheads.com

SEATTLE — An obsession with red heads has turned into a mission this summer for a local photographer.

"One of the major reasons," Anne Lindsay begins to explain, "is my daughter. Having to deal with a red-headed 13-year-old. I have a husband that's a redhead, and a dog that's a redhead."

And she's planning what anyone else obsessed with redheads would do: Get a giant group of "gingers" together in one spot.

The idea isn't unique. The local photographer borrowed this one from a guy named Bart who heads up a Dutch Festival.

"And it's called 'Redhead Days' and last year, he got 3,000 redheads!" Anne says, and that got her thinking. Could that actually be record-making material? She wrote to the people at Guinness, and sure enough, they've cleared her to attempt a new world record.

"The record is 'The most natural redheads in one place,' " she reads.

Establishing the feat is pretty easy; she only needs 250 redheads. She's hoping you are a redhead or might know a redhead, and that your calendar is open Saturday, July 17th. She's reserved a high school field in Sammamish, so there's a space big enough for a gaggle to gather.

And no one realizes more than Anne that redhead aren't easy to come by. She tells us out of every 100 people, there are only 2 redheads, meaning she'll have to comb through 12,500 people to get her minimum of 250.

"This is going to be a beautiful copper-colored day!" she says.
